Though I’m not a professional racing driver(yet) the is app has improved my telemetry analysis for my karting EXPONENTIALLY. The free version has so many well developed and advanced features, whose only limit seems to be the hardware you connect it to. I’m sure there’s much more I haven’t taken advantage of yet but I highly recommend this to anybody in the market.

Worked just right. I used an amazon suction mount on the windshield. Everything recorded as I'd wished and the phone ran cool while doing so.

Worked Great today at Laguna Seca. The 3rd party GPS worked well.. OBD2 wouldn’t connect though. Not sure if it’s a iOS issue or track addict.

Payed for premium and I can’t be happier. The app does track my car pretty nicely and the ability to view the lap is nice

I had downloaded this app awhile ago and recently have been getting more familiar with it. It’s versatile options and abilities to track us real time is outstanding. My ride along was telling me what he saw while we were running and it consider with out mph on Speedo!!fun stuff!

This app is helping me with my drag times and performance. It gives you everything you need so a small price.

Hands down, this is the best. Get this, a motorcycle mount for your phone, and go for it. We are using this in karting and it’s fantastic.

Video rendering always fails, what's the point of recording a lap if I can't replay it for analysis? No posts online to help debug the issue either. Not going to pay any money for the paid app if the free version isn't even working properly.

I love TA. It’s easy to use, very few drops in video or data and the quality of final product is amazing!

App design is old and cumbersome. I was recommended a newer app called “Track Attack!” at the PCA autocross and it’s easier to use and saves your video straight to your photos. I recommend that newer app.

Freaking awesome!

So the free version was okay. Not enough storage for that. Bought the whole version and that should be awesome. Bought it last year but that was my last track day of the year. New season is here and I’m ready. Let’s hope this app is too!

TrackAddict is a great mobile app. I use it for every autocross and track day. And nothing beats it for the price. However, Race Render on PC doesn’t seem to like the video files from the iPhone. Only the audio and data files will load.

This is absolutely the best app I have ever used. Works flawlessly on Android and Apple phones. I also downloaded and use the Race Render software on my computer. I know nothing about editing videos and this app and software is amazing.

This is an amazing app, very helpful with tons of info to help you get better, not to mention great quality video recording, amazing value for the money.

I been using this app to help improve my track skills. Having live timing in car really helps me see how I’m doing on each hot lap. Plus I can go back and watch my laps between sessions and make corrections to my line. It’s also very simple to download an individual lap straight to my phone and then can post to my IG from my phone.

Great app so far but it’s missing options such as being able to select better resolution and cameras. I mean, why is only 1080p 60 available at this stage in the game ? The iPhone passed that years ago.

I live in rural Arizona and have lots of dirt roads and the ability to map out my own courses is super cool especially because we have no local tracks in northern Arizona.I no longer I have to rely on myLady to ride along with me holding a stopwatch I seen great improvements in my stagnant times and it makes going to workAnd coming home a day at the track

I can’t wait to try this at my local indoor kart overlaying track. That will really be the test of this beast.

Being able use any big track around the world is a huge plus.

I love using this app to track runs on our annual hill climb, it’s super helpful to review each run and have video, but audio within the video is a recurring frustration. Sometimes the audio won’t play during playback, but fiddling with the silent mode switch or restarting the phone will usually bring it back. This weekend, however it apparently didn’t record audio for any runs even though the video is fine, and I can play audio from past years. This has been a recurring issue with the app for years and I wish the developers would build in a better test or something to ensure it’s recording correctly.

This app gives data which used to require hundreds of dollars of data acquisition equipment. They have many tracks in their catalog. It tracks your speed and acceleration on each lap. It allows lap by lap comparison. It is helping me learn where I need to improve my approach. I highly recommend this app for anyone who does on-track performance driving.

Worthless, doesn’t work, tried all the instructions as well as just guessing and complete waste of a track-day in regards to data. If you want to know your lap time, buy a real/correct tool. Same company as HpTuners- worthless morons.

I haven’t seen any apps even close to this level of functionality that don’t either charge exorbitant recurring subscriptions or bombard you with nonstop ads, so that’s already a 4/5. On top of that, the app itself just has crazy levels of functionality and give you almost all the data you could ask for. For the track, street drives, drag strips, off-road trails and everything in between this app really has got you covered. And 8.99 for the full experience? A no brained is an understatement. I could EASILY see Porsche, BMW, etc charging upwards of $1,500 USD for devices that do the exact same thing. All in all just an awesome app.

This app rocks. On track video plus data logs is so powerful. I confirmed that my oil system mods were sufficient for the grip I have on my track! I also found out that the computer was pulling ~2 degrees of timing every time I hit the rumble strips on the apex of turns on the road course. Without the video and track map, I may have adjusted the spark map! So awesome!

So amazing this is only $10! Love using it. Sometimes it doesn’t seem clear when it’s recording video and I’d appreciate clearer instructions on how to connect to car (OBD2etc). But overall I find it fantastic and love using it. Awesome that my local track (NJMS, NJ) is pre-programmed

Used to record a segment of my favorite road. Very good quality and easy to save to photos on my iPhone.

This tool is great! Really helps to visualize where I’m getting better. And for the price, it’s well worth it. Much cheaper than an in car computer.

I’ve been running this app for over 3yrs now and I really really like it. I connect my phone to an external GPS module that’s mounted under my rear view mirror. I’ve had this app at Road Atlanta, Roebling Road, Barber and Daytona with pretty good results. I say pretty good because on a cloudy day, the GPS signal is sometimes to weak and my video recording with data is sketchy. BUT, compared to some $1,000 units out there, this is very very very helpful. I also LOVE the fact that I can be ANYWHERE to include an airport toilet and I can review my data because it’s always with me on my phone! Love it 🤙

This app is amazing. Works great. Used first time on track at the FIRM and amazing results. Definitely recommended to anyone taking their car to the tracks.

Able to use this app to do what I want in an Autocross setting. I am able to quickly see my previous run easily. Only issue is the GPS isn’t consistent or accurate. Would love for this developer to allow a Race Box Mini to tether in. I’ve reach out to them and they’re willing but has trouble connecting with someone!

I used the app for the first time during a track day at Sebring. It was easy to set up and use. The data I was able to collect include video was helpful in improving my skills and speed. Sharing the videos with friends was fun too.

GPS Signal is EVERYTHING! I rented an official track transponder ($600 unit) at auto club speedway this weekend and ran TrackAddict on the window just to see if this app is even worth using. EVERY SINGLE LAP is with in 0.01xxx of the official transponder. 2:00.991 track addict 2:01:175 on the transponder 2:02.435 track addict 2:02.117 on the transponder And it goes on for 15 accurate laps through out the day. I mounted mine on my dash under the windshield, the guy next to me said he had issues and his was off around a full second cause it was in his cup holder in his car. So if you can get solid GPS signal these things are spot on. I can’t stress this enough. I’m so glad, I won’t be renting another transponder again. TrackAddict is getting $10 from me for the pro after this. Buy and run this app! It’s awesome!

It is amazing what this app can do for a fraction of the cost of other similar products. Feature Request: Add the ability to export a video of theoretical best lap, to make it easier to visualize what we did right. Automatically build a best lap video from the fastest time in each lap segment.

Fantastic app for amateur drivers. Has many helpful features to show speed and driving lines in different sections on the track. Also helpful in Autocross.

I just started tracking my car last year and was looking for a fun way to learn whether I was getting better. TrackAddict was highly recommended and has worked terrifically since the first day. Videos, telemetry, overlays and comparisons, and especially the tracking of your potentially fastest lap based on best segments has been a terrific motivator and learning tool. Buy the paid version and the free version is too limited. Only suggestion is easier file transfers better integration with desktop app.

Minimal hassle to setup and get recording some sessions. The additions that would make this the only name in the driving-phone-app-telemetry game: - WIDE-ANGLE LENS SUPPORT! Give the GoPros a run for their money! - Sometimes a recorded session does not appear until the app is closed and restarted - Video overlays are getting long in the tooth - Video overlays pt. 2: would be nice to customize and place individual gauges around the screen - UI could use a fresh coat of paint

I'm a novice track day motorcycle rider and I find this interesting and helpful.

I use this all the time for AutoX. Yes it’s not solostorm. But it works well for me.

Just started using this app this weekend at The Glen. Did a good job recording everything however during playback sometimes the audio would work and most times it doesn’t. Seems to be an okay app if you haven’t gone ahead and done something like an aim or garmin.

Can’t set what to focus on, so the camera just focuses on the windshield the entire time and everything behind that is a blur. Also no way to switch to wide angle lens.

I recently used the free version of TrackAddict for a track day at Road Atlanta. The app was easy to install and set up. While on track, being able to see actual lap times and predictions were helpful to monitor how I was doing. Between sessions, it was nice to be able to look at detailed lap info. I’ll definitely step up to the paid version before my next track day to support development and to allow storage of more sessions.

Great app for comparing track lap times!

I’m just getting into track days and motorsport, only using my phone with no other data collectors. Given that, this app collects an impressive amount of data and makes it pretty easy to turn that data into intelligence with lap comparisons, various visualizations, and easy navigation. One suggestion: I film with my phone on landscape mode, and although the numerical G forces appear to be correct, the little visualization on the video output is centeres at 1G to the left. If you could add a way to reset to 0G centered at the start of a session, that would be awesome

I love the app, it is super useful at the track, highly recommend. And the price isn’t that bad! I only took one star because there is no way to contact the developers, and the app does a beeping sound when it is recording and my helmet Bluetooth is connected to it. That beeping sound drives me crazy! And there is nothing I can do in the app to disable that nightmare beeping. In other words, to use this app in my phone, I need to disconnect the Bluetooth speaker from my phone every time. PLEASE remove that beep or add an option to disable it. I already paid for this app, but I would give $10 extra just to disable that beeping when I’m recording my sessions. That said, best app I used so far. Features I would love to see: * Option to redrawn the track, it happen to draw twice the track wrong due to GPS lack of precision, and I had to create a new track every time instead of being able to reset that drawing. * Option to export a video with only the track animation and telemetry, so I can overlay in my videos using another app. * Let it play all the laps in sequence, don’t need to watch one, click to the next, and so on… I want to watch a session from beginning to the end and compare every lap with the best lap in sequence.
