This app is reall awesome! Definitely recommend it.

Used it for the first time today while running autocross. Setting up the start and finish line for a track not listed in the directory was very easy! I can tell you that this app is just about perfectly accurate as far as times are concerned... Couldnt say so much for the MPH as I had mine going off GPS. If you were to set it up with the OBD2 il sure it would be precise! Again amazing app will be purchasing the pro edition!

The apps shift position reading is extremely inaccurate showing incorrect gear position. For example, I have a 5 speed manual and the app will show 6. Sometimes it will display the position in neutral when its not. Until this app addresses this issue I will turn off this feature as it is useless. Cannot see the GoPros preview in the app. Prior to this firmware I could see it. The footage would record on both the GoPro and the iPad which made it easy for me to just export it from the app to the camera roll then into the pc with the telemetry attached. Now I cant see anything. Whats the problem?

Why would you spend $500 on a lap timer when you have a perfectly capable device in your pocket!

This app is essential for anyone attending a track day! Its unbelievable how much though went into making it. Not only are you able to capture all the same video and data as those expensive GPS trackers they rent at the track, but while its recording all this, the screen is displaying, in real-time, all your lap info (including the sectors where youre starting to fall behind); all you gotta do is type in which track youre at. Even better, the video with speed, g-force, track position and time displayed is super easy to save onto your phone so you can very easily upload it to YouTube/Facebook/etc. I know theres also a setting to connect to your OBDII with one of those plugins you can get for cheap on Amazon and also lets you connect to your GoPro, but I didnt try any of that. What I do recommend is you get a good mount to hold your phone on your dash. Im gonna make sure I tell all my track friends about this app.

The best app I have found for track days or even recording your own sprints. The OBD II connector can get you more details but its great without it too.

Perfect for rally racing !

This app was very easy and intuitive to use for karting. No external devices needed. Iphone GPS was adequate but not incredibly accurate for lateral positioning on track. Data capture and playback display is very good. I like the braking and multiple axes data. I will upgrade to full version!

It is incredible what this app does. Auto start. Lap timer with best lap indicated. Video with g force, time, track map and speed. Sharing. Super easy to learn. Im upgrading to the paid version just to give my thanks to the developer. Ive only used it once and Im very impressed.

I race dirt track. Ive used all different cameras from the go pros to a chasecam thousand dollar data system with cameras and gps. Nothing was as easy to use nor as complete in options and functions as this simple app and my current iPhone. Easily worth 10x what they are asking and would happily pay it.

No support for the Kiwi3 yet

This app is awesome, but it needs to record video in the portrait mode! It will finally show a preview the video in portrait mode, but only records, records upside down in portrait mode. Looks like a bug to me. My ProClip mount holds my iPhone primarily in this orientation, so I need portrait video recording! My Dad and I made some awesome recordings at Road America with this app in an ’01 Camaro SS and ’11 CTS-V. There needs to be an Apple TV companion app to show live video & track cars, similar to the Race Monitor IOS app!! Think about how awesome this would be, your family could watch you from home! To really unlock the full potential of this app, you want to buy either OBDLink MX WiFi or PLX Kiwi 2 WiFi — then you can get additional data overlay, and the PLX unit will also let you add additional non-OBD sensors! Kiwi 3 Bluetooth 4.1 is out -- why does TrackAddict not support Kiwi 3?! Oh and add CarPlay support please!!! So many possibilities here to display on the 6th Gen Camaro dash screen, etc.

Cant wait to get to the track with this app.
